WINDOWS XP SUPPORT INFORMATION
OIT strongly recommends upgrading the operating system of all computers still running Windows XP to a newer operating system – Windows 7 or 8.1. Windows XP is no longer being updated by Microsoft (Windows XP Updates – both Critical and Security updates are no longer available). Without further updates, machines running XP are increasingly at risk with the computer, and the data on those computers, possibly being compromised. Due to Microsoft’s end of support for the XP Operating System, OIT will no longer be providing support for computers running the XP operating system and we recommend all machines be upgraded from XP to a newer OS where capable. We can assist by submitting your request to OITConnect.
